The 'circumference' is the distance around the outside of the circle. I'm assuming here that you are only in 2nd or 3rd grade and haven't learned any math yet.

C is the circumference (not circumfrance)

π = pi (the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of the circle, approximately = 3.14159265)

d is the diameter of the circle.
