Bacteria cause odor. Odor means bacteria are present, simply put. First of all, wash down all sides of the toilet with 1/4 bleach in a gallon of water. That means toilet tank top, and the sides. Toilet seat on both sides, and the porcelain part where the seat hinges are. Also get the sides of the toilet bowl all the way down to the floor. Often urine can collect around the bolts that hold the toilet to the floor. Wipe all this down with the bleach solution and rinse. Then clean the floor with the bleach solution as well.

Use White Vinegar and water. It smells like vinegar at first, but the smell goes away quickly and takes the urine smell with it. :)
