The only thing wrong with Howard Dean was his "WOOOO" expletive, but that's only subjective criticism that the Republicans were able to successfully use to turn Democrats against him.
Enthusiasm is not tolerated in Communistic societies, unless it's on "The Price Is Right".

Howard Deans motto "Take Back America" was stolen from the Republican motto "Take Back Vermont" during the gay marriage and civil unions debate when he was Governor of Vermont...you can listen to him if you want to but I can tell you first hand the man should be placed in a psych ward for his own protections.
