If i had a nickle for everytime i was asked this by a customer.. i would have 30 cents.. lol. Your cell phone is hard to tap, unless they install a microphone in the physical phone. To listen to someone's cellular call, the person would have to act as a tower and have your calls go over thier system. this is majorly expensive. otherwise, the call is encrypted and its ALMOST impossible. So, if you know someone willing to spend about a quarter million dollars to listen to your calls, then i would say your calls being tapped are the least of your problems.

First off, is it your house phone or cell? For the house phone the telephone company can tap and never have to let you know but, you can call and tell them that you want it off and MAYBE they will provide you the reason it is on in the first place. Now if it is someone personal that is tapping it, look for the line, it has to connect with your phone somewhere then, if you find it, disconnect it your self. It is not hard to do at all. Also if someone else in your family has called to have it tapped, are they tapping you or someone else in the bunch? If this is the case they can not hang up the phone when they person they supect has called, they have to go to an outside line (a different phone) and call the phone company to get the number that has the line tied up. After two or three times of this they get that person and the person that tapped the line in the first place has to prosecute!
