you have to go with your sister to take her twins to the emergancy room.
your aunt just found out she has cancer
you have an appt at the eye doctor
your really dizzy and might pass out.. again
you cant see out of your right eye
kiler migraine
major anxiety attack
fake seizure

The ever vague "stomach problems" always works - you don't have to fake any outward symptoms other than a stern look on your face and maybe a couple extra trips to the restroom for good measure.

Get flu like symptoms NOBODY wants to be around someone with the flu. When you come back in you will be amazed at the people who say they caught it from you. lol

Tell them your kid is sick and you have to get out there. Or you could say that you have to take your car to get some work done on it.
