Should we try to breed out the fat/ugly gene that some people possess..... And it would help as fat people have a much bigger carbon foot print than a normal person has....

I don't see where the "ugly gene" fits into increasing a person's carbon footprint. Is it something to do with increased makeup expense or increased beer consumption before they look good or what?

We need a person in Brussels to tell us what sort of fat to carbon ratio we *should* have and charge a tax if it is not correct. As we all know by now, the fat/tax/carbon variable term in the overall equation that determines the politically correct temperature of what the planet *should* be is 12.78 times greater than the term for water vapor and 6.91 times greater than the one for dust bits. nm

I dont think that is very true as a skinny person i think i use just as much as anyone else big or small. To say that one group of people is responsible is very ignorant we are all to blame im sure that some overwieght people recycle and use CFL bulbs, Dont leave thing on standby as well as other people

There are lots of perfectly shaped people inside the fatness.
There are a lot of people who I know regard themselves as perfect, but very ugly inside.
Carbon Footprint is another buzz term to fool us into paying higher taxes.
There is just too many of us, and breeding constantly.

Perhaps, or we could just kill half the world, that would reduce it (as over-population leads to more than global warming, e.g. unsustainable resource use, etc.)?? No, but many people would object to that, as it could lead to a 'super race' of humans with no disease, and no fat genes, etc. chile the rest suffered.
Good idea though.

It's a point of view, I suppose. I've always wondered why fat people get the same luggage allowance as normal people when flying. What about the extra 30kg of lard they carry? Why don't they get charged an excess??

Nah, just sell your car to the scrap yard for recycling and get a Bicycle like I did. Most people will just talk and never do. I not seen Al Gore riding a bicycle yet, but, he expects me to.

Yes and by that logic we could breed people who are scared of flying, or breed more visually impaired people so there are less car drivers, hell why not genetically engineer cows that don't fart. Or maybe we could just punish people who waste energy through using their computers to ask stupid questions.

obese people dont have as long of a life expectancy as a normal person so their "carbon footprint" is probably equal.
