Usually I just brush it off...after praying that they get hit by a bus.

My first thinking travels along the lines of some of those violent movies where a wrong is righted by revenge. Something like hunting down El Wrongo with some kind of stealth-like weapon tearing him to ribbons; then burning down his house with (yet another cool weapon) a WWII style flame thrower. That would show him, no? But then I think this scenario through where I'm sitting on death row in some prison somewhere wondering about who showed whom what. Are ya following me?

I did when I was MUCH younger; but now I've learned that forgiveness is the best revenge. For one thing, if the person who hurt you is taking pleasure in the fact that they hurt you, then it will drive them up a wall if you SINCERELY forgive them. Also, God sees the whole picture, so revenge is best left to Him because HE knows when it will be most effective.
Finally, in most cases, people only hurt themselves by refusing to forgive others. They are keeping themselves in an emotional prison of bitterness & resentment while the person who hurt them is most likely going on about the business of enjoying their lives!

I've planned revenge out to the most minute detail... but I have only gone thru with my plans once. The other people just weren't worth my time any more...

revenge.... such a simple word and such a complicated act- revenge has repercussions, and karma is always watching...
so I would say I would love to even the odds, but don't want to pay the consequences :)

No, ive never gotten revenge on anyone because i dont like to stir the fire more. ive fantasized about ways to get people back but never followed through. according to the laws of karma, its bad karma just to wish someone ill. so i dont want anymore bad karma, but karma will visit the one who wronged me. so i just forget about them.
