You need to go to his boss and ask for a transfer to another location within your company.
He can hire anyone he wants as long as they are qualified to the position hired for.
It would be difficult to deal with everyday, I compend you for hangin in there this long.
Good Luck

unfortunatly there's nothing that can be done, alhtough take the higher ground, and work as professionally as you can. if he's not being professional with his dual relationship at work and at the home he will be in trouble, if you are all profesional, people will side with you and help you out all the time. Just take the moral high ground and stick at your job, if your good at it, and you get passed over for any promotion that you go for you can then take it further as it's on the grounds of personal relationships, and companies do not like that one bit. So if you have done no wrong and worked the best of your abilities and have proof of that, he can only make mistakes.

Yep, you need to find a new job if you can;t live with it... and you;d have no chance at a tribunal unless (and this is a VERY long shot) you can prove that she has no qualifications or aptitude to fill the position he hires her for and that he is only hiring her to ensure that you leave. If that could be PROVEN you MAY have a case for constructive dismissal (i.e. he wants you gone and is simply acting to make the conditions intolerable for you to stay in your job). VERY difficult to prove though....

He can employ who ever he wants as long as he has the authority to do so....
You may have a case for constructive dismissal if you recieve less favourable treatment than she does....
but wait an see what happens he is in hot water should anything happen....

I don't think that you have any right to tell a company they can't hire your ex's gf (unless you own the company). If you can't stand the situation you need to move to another part of the company or find a new job.

Wow that's tough. Do yourself a favour and get out! The best way to get over someone is to cut all ties with them.
Btw I'm pretty sure he can hire whoever he likes!

unfortunately he can employ whoever he wants. However, if there are a set of procedures (interviews, etc.) and he hires her even if she is not the best candidate, you can complaign, and those not given the job could sue (not sure if you could though).

Your best bet is to get a new job, a new life and start over. You'll be surprised what you can achieve when you put your mind to it. Good luck and all the best.

Personal relationships have nothing to do with business. If you're so bothered, I suggest you leave and find another job.
