Lol I don't take offense to it, even though I haven't heard it in probably 3 years. Its like a desperate attempt to cut down a white person but its pretty horrible. The thing to say back in the day if another race that was darker than you called you a cracker then you laughed and said well at least i'm not a "burnt cracker".

I like crackers especially Ritz

but the term actually comes from the fact that most slave owners were white and would crack the whip to get them to work harder. Thus creating the term cracker for anyone cracking a whip
