I have been set an art project and the theme is ''the future''.....I was thinking do you think that one day it is going to be so hot that we will have to retreat underground? If so how would our bodies have to evolve? like moles etc.

I do know that some people already live underground in Austrailia. I saw it on the Discovery channel. I also know that it was a dream of Hitler's to have an active world underground, highways and headquarters.

I think that we would all be very pale if we had to retreat underground.

If the people could use with heat of the underground house then it is better and it could be safer for some of the underground house. But the problem is there won't be any windows and for other people is hard to go in and stay. If u like the Idea then is better go to cooper pedy and there is some underground house over there see if u like it.

I think if it gets too hot to live on the surface of the earth, humans won't survive by moving underground. What would they eat? If it's too hot to live on the surface, it is going to be too hot to grow any plants. And, plants can't live without light and photosynthesis.

I heard that not having sunlight for a period of time can cause depression, so I think that might be a problem to your mental health.
