That depends on the person. New games are available. So if someone gets 'bored' with their Wii.. they might want to consider getting a new game for it.

if you mean bored with the play-style. Again, that's subjective. If they would prefer to sit and use an analog controller, that's always an option too.

But the majority of folks that buy the Wii didn't buy it for the graphics.. so sitting around with a normal controller isn't exactly going to cater to those folks.. more than likely :)

I can tell you from personal experience that the game-set that comes with the Wii (with bowling and baseball and what-not) can get boring pretty quickly.. but you can go buy Wii Play and other games like in the interim. Plus there are no shortage of ported games from the 360 that use the aiming technology of the Wii (like Call of Duty 3).

Hope that helps a bit.

No, the Wii doesn't get boring as long as you get a new game just about once a month or so. Like one of the previous answers said, Wii sports and Legend of Zelda had me for about 2 months. Then I got hooked on a couple of others games but they didn't last as long and weren't as good. There are few new games that would last me quite a while like Mario Party 8 and Super Smash Bros. Melee. I am saving up for a 360 though because I love first person shooters like Halo and Xbox 360 is jacked full of them and third person ones. It all depends on which games you like to play though.

I have my Wii since January. And I also have an Xbox 360 and a PS2, as well as a Dreamcast. Throw in my old Gamecube and the Super NES with the N64, and I still regard the Wii the most interesting console of these all.

No signs of boredom on the Wii yet.

In a certain sense yes. The Wii was fun for a while. Then you get a new game, beat it, then the fun is gone. The reason for this is because Nintendo is taking their good old time in making REALLY good games for it. Wii sports of course took a big chunk of time, then Zelda. After that nothing really is as fun. Games that are coming though are reason enough to get one.

Conclusion: The lack of good games makes for less fun.

same as any game system. some games get boring after you play them for a while. I haven't turned on my 360 in ages but I fire up my Wii every day.
