What other hookups may I need to make my Desktop internet access worthy in a hotel?

Desktops and Notebooks are the same except their size. Notebooks come with a built in wifi these days but i guess desktops do not. U need a wifi card for your desktop and thats it u r good to go.

If the hotel has a wireless feed, you will need a wireless Network Interface Card (NIC)

If the hotel has a wired feed, you will need a regular network port (RJ45).
