Are those really the only two options?
Life has alot more to offer than either of those.... a person doesn't have to choose one or the other.
Why not become a sky-diving instructor? How about a rodeo clown?
Having said that, work isn't always about 'enjoying your job'. As you get older you realise that work is only a means to an end. You need to work in order to have the life you want for you and your family. Go on nice vacations, have enough food, clothing and accommodation to be comfortable in your life.
Work isn't the be all and end all. If you have to go to a dull office every day to provide for yourself and the people you love - then it can't be all that bad.
Sounds like you prefer excitement to boredom. Just find something that suits your interests better. :)

In this world of excellent opportunities, you've got to think out of the box. Go back to school, start your own business, change your name and move somewhere no one knows you. Nobody has to be trapped in an office job. In fact, quitting that office job might be the best thing you ever did. It might force you to find something else, and you decide you love that new job.
Bullets to the brain are never ever an option, unless of course you know that your life will never ever change. The way you feel now may not be the way you'll feel in 2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years, etc. You can't base your future on how you're feeling right now.

Change your job or get transferred to another office in another city. We need you, stop thinking about the bullet it will mess
up the carpets and the wall. Go to the church, Confess or do what ever. above all PRAY
