I love Bob Barker and I love TPIR, but I must ask- what is Bob thinking? Even if she does get the job, how long would it be before she gets into a fight with a contestant and ends up fired? I've been watching this show for all of my life, but I would stop if Rosie took over. Who agrees? Just for fun- Who WOULD you like to see host the show?

Good to know I'm not alone. Now we just have to start the "Drew is Right" campaign. Get to it!

Certainly NOT Rosie O'Donnell. You said it right....she is too volatile to do the job.
I would like to see Mario Lopez! He is sooo cute and sooo good with people! Would love to see him daily for the next 40-50 years! Yeah!!!!

The only reasonable and quite obvious celebrity to host TPIS is Howie Mandel. He would bring a little more fun to the show than Bob did. As for Rosie, the show would be canceled within the year or at least a new host within the year. Rosie's personality doesn't fit the show and I think CBS execs are not looking past their noses and are just trying to get the ratings while Rosie is still in the limelight. At least all the bull dyke Lezzies will be happy!

Not Rosie. Ryan Seacrest is the only I think I could stand watching for the next 30 or so years. He's more like Bob Barker. And then maybe he could get away from those 3 losers who judge American Idol. But he's talented enough to do both isn't he.

i'd sooner see ANNE ROBINSON (weakest link) take Bob's Place. (not really -but can you imagine? ; )
Rosie is a disaster. I'm glad i don't watch that show. I'd be very disappointed ,right about now. ~Laurie
PS. my current Game Show Fost Fave is Howie Mandel.
My alltime fave is BOB EUBANKS.
and I think Johnny Fairplay, of CBS Survivor Fame, would make a good GameShow Host. Let's let him do a test show. ; )
or how bout giving it to Barker's Beauties, to co-host ? they've been there forever, You wouldn't even have to teach them anything. They prolly already know it all. :D
pps.. i went back and read what others were saying.. Drew Carey Would be Excellent!! I revise my opinion. I vote DREW.

Rosie from her own talk show days (in the 90's) would be great. Not so sure about the new (The View) Rosie.
No matter who takes over, it won't be the same. Maybe they could get the guy who hosts America's Funniest Home Videos to do it.

i have no idea what tpir is but i love rosie hosting anything!! she is smart and she is fair. she has a lot to offer the world. i loved it when she joined the view and called elizabeth on a few things. i do not watch the view now she has gone. i just wish she had been on when elizabeth made her dumbest comment to date in my opinion regarding criminals donating their organs!! of course she was against it, but if they are healthy and want to do something to aid society why not???
and she calls herself a christian! what happened to forgiving and not judging?? anyway i have gone off on a tangent. Rosie, Rosie, Rosie i say ! The O,Donnell would make any show rosier!!! love her! rosie=ratings!! of course the new price is right. she is a lot of fun and as i said i would watch anything she was on but i wish she had her own show in a view like format. not even the barbara walters could own the screen when Rosie was around, that is probably why rosie is gone and not the empty vessel that is forever rattling around. even if you are not a Rosie fan at least it will be entertaining! best wishes.

I don't hate Rosie.... but I'm kind of tired of her. At this point she is right up on my list of things I am sick of hearing about, along with Paris Hilton.
I think Rosie needs to take a couple of years off to let people forget about her recent tirades.
They should give the show to Ellen. She would be awesome. She makes people laugh without offending anyone. She is family friendly and her humor is light and clever.
She wouldnt change the integrity of the show.

Why do people dislike Rosie O Donnell? Shis entitled to her opinion. She does not have to go along with everyone else's opinion. It is interesting to have a controversial person giving her view and opinions which is diferent from others. She would be a good host, anyway there are people who still value her as host or else they would not have offered her this position.

I would not mind if Jenny McCarthy host the show. I also think that Rosie need counseling or/and loss some weight.
