I think thats good that he can say that...it sounds like he's very comfortable with his own sexuality that he can joke around with you....its obvious he has no problem with gay people and i think thats mostly in part b/c he is comfortable with his own sexuality...i think the problem of why straight people have a problem with accepting gays is b/c they are not 100% comfortable with there own sexuality! I wish there were more straight guys like your friend!!!

Tab, consider yourself flattered by this "straight" guy. He has made a gentle pass at you, has told you that he is NOT 100% straight, would have sex with the right guy..in other words, he wants a BJ from you. Simple as that. If all at the table were totally honest, 50% or so would admit to the same thing, but with other specifics...but men are not honest when it comes to this stuff, and I can't blame them. IN fact, whether this guy is married or not, I doubt that he is straight. I think he has let you know that he IS interested in you in an off hand way that cannot get him in trouble with you...it was a public offer, not private. I do not suggest following up on it even if you are attracted to him. The old, "don't eat where you crap" holds true in any situation. Good luck

Kind of makes me think that you are looking into this way too much, and makes me wonder what you are hoping for. People say the most interesting things all the time to see people's reactions, etc. However, when someone goes on like you are, usually it is because they are wanting it to happen. Come out of the closet or the drawer that you are in and face the fact that you are actually homosexual. There is nothing wrong with that, I have some homosexual friends and they are all nice.

Eh, well, I think george clooney is on the list (men that straight women find attractive and gay men do not), but I could be wrong, but anyway, yea it is a bit odd.

It would depend on the context of the overall discussion. My friends and I used to have conversations about who we'd "go gay/lesbian for". Nothing was ever meant by it except fun introspection and we never once questioned each others' sexuality as a result. BTW, my answer was always the same -Pierce Brosnan - he is a pretty, pretty man

If he actually is straight then he's probably just joking around. A lot of people say stuff like that, I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Not really. Husbands and wife's have a game 'Who would you go 'mo' fo?'. It helps give some insight to the other persons taste while never having to actually 'go mo'.
