My grandparents brought the white rabbits into the room to me and sat them down. My grandfather is deceased and has been for almost a year. This is a dream I have had a couple of times and can't help but think about it through out the day.

Rabbits mean fertility. Easter is a run on of an old Pagan belief of fertility rites. They chose rabbits since they are extremely good multipliers. They use to also had been used in the past to check and see if a woman was pregnant. They injected a womans blood into the rabbit and if it lived she wasn't pregnant. There is an old rock song, which I can't remember the name off hand but in it the verse says "you can't find me cause the rabbit done died." Meaning he got someone pregnant and isn't wanting to stick around to raise the child.
Ok, so this dream is telling you that you will be carrying on family traits that your grandparents have given you but through a child you will be bearing, possibly twins? The mention of two rabbits is no understatement, you could have two separate children to carry on some trait, something that really excites your grandparents so much so that they just gotta share that news with you, and the best way our loved ones who have passed over can do that is while we dream.
If I were you, I'd be doing a little bit of genealogy research on that particular family line. I'd find out what nationalities existed and read up on those nationalities. I would take a wild guess here and claim there is either Native lineage through it or
Celtic.
And most importantly, those rabbits are white, that means spiritual purity, these future children of yours will be spiritual, highly spiritual, maybe psychic, who knows really, but they've given you a heads up on this trait none the less.
Open top cage= keep them open to their spiritual truths, don't confine them to indoctrinated religion, they will be above that you see, or better yet rise above it. :)

The bands you mentioned are amazingly talented. For some reason I do not see such talent in today's musicians, at least not yet. I know "Dark Side of the Moon" was on the Billboard charts for 741 weeks consecutively that's 14years!! I am impressed that all that talent came together in the right place and time for each band, it is almost like a gift from the Rock Gods. Those bands and others like the Grateful Dead have been a part of my life since way back, I know some younger "kids" who are devoted Dead-Heads who where just babies when Jerry died, I feel sorry for those who never got to see him preform, that whole scene is very unique in rock music, it was always a non-stop party. I know that it still remains a great event now when they tour as a group or individuals, but it did change of course after Jerry

To dream of rabbits means a foreshadowing of good luck. White rabbits normally mean faithfulness of a lover. I don't know if this helps you or not.
