Cats rule...dogs drool.I've always had cats,I love them!

I love all animals. I've had all sorts of critters as pets, even Box Turtles (who do develop personalities, believe it or not).
I love cats, to a point.
But, I much prefer the unconditional love, loyalty, and willingness to please that only a dog can show.
My favorite breeds would be the Olde English Sheep Dog, the Yellow Lab, German Shepard, Golden Retriever, Border Collie, Newfoundland, and Irish Deerhound.

I have a cat. Dogs are OK but they are kind of noisy.

Cats, cats, cats. I tried having a dog but they are too high maintenance and I can't deal with the barking due to migraines. Cats don't have to be housebroken either, major plus!!

I love cats!! We just got a kitten 5 months ago, she is sooo cute, and the most playful cat i have ever met. She loves to splash in her water bowl, and steal my hair ties...we love our kitty!!! Dogs smell bad, and drool everywhere and they always want to lick you, yuuuck!

I have both, the cats are less work than the dog. But the dog listens better :)

Probably more toward cats. Had an outdoor/indoor cat for nineteen years, moved all over the west. She didn't care. In fact, cats adapt anywhere.

I'm gonna have to go with cats, even though I do like dogs, but given the choice, I'd go with the kitties
