That is a great question. Ive always woundered that. Actually I think they were running low when I saw one burning a Rocky 4 poster. That's the one with the American flag behind him.

That's odd. Whenever I view the video footage of anti-American protests, I see only one giant flag and maybe an effigy of Bush being burned. I can't seem to find footage of Muslims burning thousands of flags at the same time, nor would I expect to find a shop or warehouse stocked with endless supplies of American flags in anywhere in the Mid-East readily available. If you know, please share with the rest of us.

LOL!!!! I just read a political blog on this very subject this morning.
When those cartoons came out from the Danish newspapers, they had Danish flags ready to burn. When they burn British or American flags-- they are readily available.
And why are their signs so well-made and professionally done? Something is not right about it....

Well, I guess it doesn't matter that there are many Muslims that are proud to be American and will never even to dream to burn an American flag and not to mention countless other Muslims living outside the States who wouldn't burn the American flag either.
Sigh. However, I know that you and many others are brainwashed into thinking that Muslims hate us for our freedoms and it's the religion when all along it is our actions (U.S. foreign policy) that is to blame for this mess.
Just ignore me though. Keep on living in your world filled with paranoia of 1.2. billion people out to get to you.

Because the economy of the Middle East is more dependent on the burning of cheap American flags than oil and natural gas.
If they do not make them, I wonder how much of the Chinese GDP is tied to producing American flags to be burnt in the Middle East.

They steal them off flag poles and that is suppose to be a peaceful sec of people, remember the Danish cartoon with Mohammad's turbine a bomb? they took it out on innocent people who had nothing to do with it, for days if they were rational people they would of went after the drawer and publisher from start.
reread your history on the Crusades its still going on Muslims and Christians have been fighting for centuries and will until they took over world or Jesus Christ returns.

I've always wondered this myself! Maybe its the REAL cause of global warming! Time to make all American flags out of non-flammable materials!

Not all Muslims hate the US. It is lame to say that just because many Muslims disagree with US policies in the Middle East, means that they are anti American.
Its true, there is a lot of anti Americanism in many Muslim countries, but its not like they have no reason in doing so. There is a reason. I certainly think that there ought to be changes in the Muslim world so that it can handle its challenges more effectively.

You must first understand the hardships they go through. Imagine being in a small, crowded town to find out that your relatives have just been bombed for no reason by the US. Thousands of people die in Lebanon every month as a result of American bombing but are not released to the media. Would all of this make you want to burn that countries flag. Would you want to burn Lebanons flag if they bombed your relatives?
