Just because my answer isn't "nice", why then is it a violation? I've insulted no one, I've made no statements, I answered a question and shared my opinion on why I chose the answer I did. The question was rhetorical in nature anyway, so why then do I get penalized for supplying an answer to a question with no real answer? Does anyone else find this to be facist behavior? Only think what yahoo staffers "want" you to think, otherwise you risk "deletion"? Why aren't racists deleted? And what do you think about the theory that the yahoo societies & cultures racists are acutally yahoo staffers? They seem to never get banned, or have their IP's suspended like the guidelines threaten. I see them everyday. Why is this?

These are legitimate questions for which I seek legitimate answers.

lol....I'm beginning to find out the hard way. I got reported so many times today (and from what I know, it was only by two people) that when I logged onto Yahoo Answers, I only had limited access. I could only ask questions, and look at people's Q and A pages. Thats it. Then later on, when I log onto my myspace, I have messages and blog comments from a racist troll that blamed me for her account getting deleted, and she proceeded to tell me that she is still on Yahoo just with a different name, that I am a Samoan savage, that I commit bestiality, that I am losing my hair from relaxers, and that I am a camel jockey that wants to be white.... AND that I dress like a hoochie mama lol....its kind of funny, but kind of not because innocent people like us who try to do good on yahoo answers have to suffer because of them. I had to change my profile to private and remove my myspace link because of them. Why should we have to suffer? Its not fair...I don't think Yahoo actually takes the time to READ the responses that are getting violated, they think just because 5 or 6 people flag it, then it should be deleted, which is not always the case. A long time ago I said I hated Papa John's Pizza and I got reported lol....
I guess we should look at it like a hard-learned lesson...we have to ignore people like that. If no one would entertain those trolls and answer their crazy questions, they would have no reason to keep coming back.....

I think you can recieve a violation notice on what you view as a perfectly calm answer if someone else takes offense to it and reports you. Even if you don't insult anyone or be outright rude, people can take an anser rudely, thus you may have been reported for it, and then recieved your violation.

Many of my "violation" answers have been based on hard cold fact, but since they werent what the askers or public wanted to hear, they were reported. No conspiracy theory needed here, it is just human nature.

there is extremely no want for moderators and all that crap in my view. i've got been on boards that have none and issues have been completely ok.. constructive, there have been fights that broke out, yet human beings settled them on their very own with out the help of a few stupid mod deleting each thing they say.

Whomever is at the helm of deciphering violations obviously is the opinionated one, I've had some answers of mine kicked back for no reason what so ever....

If anybody doesn't like your opinion they will flag it. Don't worry about it. Yahoo answers is a battlefield, not a friendly place.
