The number 13 was "unlucky" at the Last Supper. Jesus sat with the 12 disciples at a table for His last meal. He know at that time that one of the disciples was plotting against HIm, Judas. Judas had set Him up to be arrested that night.
That thirteenth man at the table, Jesus, was arrested, beaten and then was crucified on the cross just after that last meal.

I was born on July 13th, 1979 and it was Friday the 13th.
My birthday falls on a friday again this year. Time to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had 13 as my little league jersey number, my high school baseball number, my high school football number, and my high school basketball number. I never got injured and always had a winning team.
13 is not unlucky in my book

I do! When getting my first apartment the number was 1313 in Building 13 and I would NOT get it! Just too many...yikes.
There is a reason that hotels don't have a 13th floor...

Normally no, but if I was supposed to have fourteen dollars and I find only thirteen, I guess that would be called unlucky.
