The pain and pressure you are feeling is probably due to the stretching of your uterus and ligaments that hold your uterus because of your growing baby! Since your baby has dropped, this also puts pressure on your uterus and can be painful. The only true sign of labor is dilation of the cervix along with the effacement. Keep an open line of communication with your OB doctor and report any changes to him, however, I don't see and tell-tell signs you will go early. Good luck to you and your new baby!

~~*~~ What you are going through is your body preparing for the delivery. The part that is concerning is the pressure in your upper thighs. If there is that much pressure then I would suggest that you take it easy. Avoid steps and don't stand for more than one hour at a time. Of course, I'm sure know that laying on your left side is best, so rest that way with a pillow between your legs to help relieve the pressure. With the spotting just make sure there is no heavy bleeding, bleeding that requires one pad an hour or more is a serious sign of something wrong. I think that you will be fine. I have three kids and I had symptoms like this with my second child. He was also my biggest! Best wishes for a healthy baby and safe delivery!!

Its really hard to say. I would just go to the doctor and get checked out. You should be going to the doctor every week now that you are that close to having the baby. You can never be to careful so make an appointment today. I dont think you have anything to worry about but go anyway i am not a doctor

First, call your OB. You are showing signs of getting ready for some and pre/early labor for others and it is still too early. Drink plenty of fluids, stay cool.

My son was preemie (6 weeks) and he is healthy although has sleep issues and is slow to talk because of it and if I could go back and change it I would.

Better safe than sorry for your child is the only way to go.

Good luck!

I would call you doctor, you could be going into pre-term labor. If so, they will try to stop it unless you have progressed to far them they can't stop it. So call your doctor to to make sure. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Since I have a history of pre-term labor, I was told to call if anything didn't feel right.
