assume a right angle triangle. Then use trigonometry.
a2 + b2 = c2
(11.42*11.42) + (8.25*8.25) = c2
130.4164 + 68.0625 = c2
198.4789 = c2
c = sqrt 198.4789 = 14.088
to nearest hundredth, distance = 14.09ft.

angle, as already explained is tan 8.25/11.42
=35.8º

m = 8.25 / 11.42
m = 0.72
This is an angle of 35.8°
