Radio became conservative as a response to the tv being liberal for decades. Fox news is hated mainly because they give the other side and do not tow the liberal line like MSNBC, CNN aside from Lou Dobbs and the big 3.

Left wing is a tv medium because people behind tv are left wingers. Talk radio is conservative because people listen and its about ratings.

This is primarily based on the political affiliations that the owners of each company posses. Right wing affiliates may argue that radio is a more intellectual medium and strengthen their hold in order to reach a particular customer segment. Liberal affiliates may argue that television is more influential and go for that side of things. Each political group have dynamic partnerships within the medium they "control", strengthening the amount of influence they carry. This is also evident in news publications. The publishing company can normally be a clear indicator on the product's political bias. In each case it's normally a few people who determine the product that is delivered to many people.

Conservatives work more, so they drive more. What to do in your car? Radio!

Liberals work less, so they sit more. What to do on your couch? TV!

Hehe, just a joke guys, chill out. I think it is really because conservatives like traditions more, and radio has always been a tradition, at least for me. Thats why I listen to radio more than a T.V.

Conservatives need to be told what to think on any given issue.

They listen to the radio on their way to "work" so they can feel informed on a given issue. Unfortunately, they usually start every sentence with "Rush said....." That is a dead give away that they don't have a clue as to what they are talking about.

because the conservatives have no were else to get their views out becaus it's next to impossible on TV, so they took that outlet of the media, and the liberals have had TV for a long time, as well as the movies too.

probably because tv is owned by liberals, so the only market available is radio. most people, when asked, say "radio is dead" and that they prefer to watch tv. you take what medium there is, i guess.
