You can't, because adjectives are used to describe a noun and "this, these, that, and those" are just identifiers and are not used to describe anything...

ElaineP is right. "Those" can be a pronoun or an adjective. When it tells which one, it's an adjective.

"It belongs to those guys." 'it' is the subject; 'belongs' is the verb; 'those' describes the guys.
