What Sally said! Mustard, ketchup and brown sugar make a wonderful sauce to put on top of the meatloaf before you bake it. Yummy!

I like brown sugar in meatloaf. Not a lot, but a little bit adds a nice, deep flavor.

Ok I know my mom is glaring down at me right now cause she sooooooo loved making meatloaf and I sooooooo despised hers.

So of course having only grown up on her icky meatloaf, I can't imagine how brownsugar could ruin something that was already hard for me to devour.

Can we just try to put the brownsugar on ham instead? Honeybaked all the way. lol **shudders at meatloaf**

I could have told you that, if you had only asked first. My husband was cooking hamburgers for dinner one night and my mouth was watering.

I bit into it and something tasted funny. I couldn't figure it out. You see, he likes to experiment. He had put HONEY in the hamburger meat with all the usual seasonings. I was not a happy camper.
If you ask me, a hamburger is not supposed to be sweet.

He doesn't experiment as much as he use to.

I did that once, is it the one that you put the brown sugar in the ketchup and poor it over the top? Yep, that's gross. I like my recipe that I make like my mom's, it rocks.

I made peanut butter delights last night (also known as no-bake cookies) but they didn't harden. They're still soft. Ugh.
