Yes you can take it even though its not the first day of your period.

BUT, I would consult with the doctor who prescribed them to you FIRST before just taking it when you feel like.

My doctor had me start my pills on a Sunday, and I hadn't had my period yet. I was coming off of depo so I didn't get any periods which is why she had me start then.

Talk to the doctor or pharmacist first though.

I took pills from the age of 15 to 32 and I took it on another day guess they tell you first day of period so it stays the same way and ppl don't get confused you can also take regular instead of sugar pills to skip your period if you do not feel like having it .
