A lot of women get loose stools in pregnancy. They wake up each morning with a loose or diarrhea-like stool. If it's a regular thing for you, then this might just be a normal pregnancy symptom. I always had loose stools and it went away after the baby was born.

It's possible that it could be related to milk, but not likely. I say that because you are probably getting dairy products at other times in the day but they are not causing lactose-sensitivity symptoms.

However, you can test by replacing your nighttime milk with soy milk and see what happens - or doesn't happen.

If U were not lactose intolerant before then U shld not be one when pregnant. Lacose intolerance happens when the enzyme lactase that metabolizes lactose is deficient. Lactase is being secreted at the distal end part of the small intestines and as long as the intestinal linings of ur small intestines are intact, there is no way U get the intolerance. On the contrary, long term diarrhea wld cause lactose intolerance since the outer most lining of the intestines where lactase is produced will be denuded.

U probably are suffering from fat intolerance. Some foods have high contents of fats like beef. So if U have had a feast on these meats or on some dishes with very high fat contents, the undigested fats will act like irritants causing U to have diarrhea.

Just hydrate urself adequately. Flushing the fats out will cure ur diarrhea. However, it might take days to clear them up depending on how much fats U ate. Take much banana. They are very good for making stools formed. If U can, take zinc too. They are helpful in diarrhea.

Give that many people who ARE LI can tolerate yogurt with no difficulty, it doesn't sound like this is what's going on. Do other dairy products affect you the same way? At 7 weeks pregnant it's not uncommon to get queasy after eating, regardless of what you eat. If a particular food bothers you, then just skip it for a few weeks. You may find that you can tolerate it better in a month or two.

it is weird the hormones that your body produces when you are pregnant. I became a vegetarian when I was pregnant and I LOVE meat. I also developed vertigo around 30 weeks. So it's never too late for anything to happen when you are pregnant. Your body is going through such tremendous change right now. Your baby is growing by leaps and bounds in there and it can cause your hormones to just be off. Sorry about your problem. Just know that it should go away in less than 16 weeks! :-)

Might be. Ask your doctor about swutching to soy milk. When my little girl was a baby, she became lactose intollerent, they switched her to soy milk for about 6 months. Since that time, she has not had any problems and after the six months she was back to drinking normal milk.

Yes it is very possible that you could have become lactose intolerant. Now, calcuim during pregnancy is very very vital. It helps your baby and you. SO if things like this are happening you should ask your doctor for a way to see if you are offically lactose intolerant so you can drink or eat soy to get that calcuim you need.
Good Luck Honey!

I'm 24 weeks also. I've been constipated most of my pregnancy. This past week though, I've also had loose stools. I'm thinking that our bodies might just be going through stages. Next week we will probably be constipated again. lol. Good luck with the rest of your Pregnancy!!
