I was fine up until this point. All of a sudden, I am having trouble walking, I feel like I have to pee all the time when i don't, and sleeping has become a real challenge. Esp when I lay on my left side with pillows wedged inbetween my legs, there is so much pressure and discomfort in my right lower belly. Any ideas? Not sure if the baby dropped because I don't feel her kicking my ribs!

Yes, sounds like your baby has dropped! This puts pressure on the bladder making you have to pee more often, and makes sleeping harder because of new pains and pressure caused by the head pressing against your pelvic floor.

The fact that you wrote "all of a sudden" is a tip-off to the fact that your baby has dropped. Most women notice it right off and they feel a chance in pregnancy symptoms.

You're in the home stretch!

Yup, your baby has dropped. Unfortunately for you that means until you have the baby your symptoms won't go away. It's normal to feel all of the things you are feeling. The baby has made your bladder it's new home and it's prolly sitting on a nerve that's why you can't walk so well. Once you have the baby all will be fine. Just hang in there, it's almost over. Good luck.

Welcome to the last few weeks of being pregnant!!!

Try sleeping propped up high on some pillows....its not that comfy but I found in the last month that it didnt matter what side I slept on - the baby didnt like it and kicked like mad.

As for the needing to go pee all the time, well thats natural....baby is moving on down and resting right on it!

Try and get as much rest as you can these last few weeks, you will need it!

Best of Luck and hope you have an easy labour and birth!

Your baby is dropping and is almost ready for her grand entrance. I went through the same thing when i pregnant and a few things that i did to get rid of some of the pain was have someone massage you lower back and sides it helps alot.

I have the same problem, except I doubt mine has dropped..I noticed that the best thing for me is to put pillows on either side of me and one in between my legs..the benefit of having the pillows on either side of me is so if I decide to attempt to roll over on my back in the middle of the night..I'm not completely on my back..that also takes the pressure off my hips momentarily..I hope that this helps you!

It seems as if your baby has dropped into a better position for birth. It could be a few days or maybe a week. The last few days are usually the worst. Just to make sure I would consult my if I were you..

Sorry I have never experienced pregnancy, but I felt that I should reply to your question. If you are feeling uneasy about something and your doctor refuses to believe anything is wrong, perhaps see another doctor. He/She's not feeling what you feel, and if you know that something isnt right, then you should seek further help. Hope this is at all useful x

Invest in one of those body pillows. That helped me tremendously.
