I notice so far the "answers" are angry and juvenile.
Why, indeed?
How can a "culture of life" condone killing real, live human beings in Iraq and Afghanistan? People with families, jobs, futures? Old people, women, children? The war in Iraq and Afghanistan has taken the lives of over 665,000 people.
REAL PEOPLE. WALKING AROUND LIVING THEIR LIVES.
But they will become apoplectic at the termination of pregnancy? And a fetus is NOT a human being, no matter how red in the face the screamers get. It is a blob of cells.
How, oh, how? How can they scream "CULTURE OF LIFE" while supporting the killing of innocent civilians?
How, oh, how?

Just more of that Good Ole Time Retardicant hypocracy.
Repubs owned Washington outright for 6 years. Did they do a THING about Abortion? Nope.
I have asked on several occasions, if a fetus is a baby, why doesn't the Catholic Church baptize fetuses still unborn? If a fetus is a human being why wont Republicans adopt those children? Why wont they send them to good public schools (i mean ones without metal detectors)? Why wont they feed them good nourishing food while theyre AT school?
Did you know Ronald Reagan had the FDA redefine Catsup as a VEGETABLE, in order to come into compliance with Federal School Lunch Programs? Catsup is a condiment, not a vegetable. What is salt to a Repub? A vitamin?

i think of maximum individuals have assumptions concerning the conflict, yet have not got get admission to to all the information this is needed to appreciate it, and why they are scuffling with. in actuality, there has no longer been a terrorist attack on individuals interior the northern area of Iraq, and no individuals have been killed there. that is interior the Kurdish area, and what we could continually do is help THEM, and enable then artwork their way south and shelter the two the Sunni, and Shiite, terrorists. you do no longer pay attention concerning the best we've accomplished, and how the all of us is so grateful we are there, and have stored them from being worn out. WHY? via fact the main media in simple terms concentrates on the situation in Baghdad and is largely liberal. i could strongly advise you get a replica of the e book, "the perfect pass previous Iraq", via Mike Evans. he's an award-prevailing journalist, and excellent-advertising author who has served as a confidant to leaders interior the middle East for better than 2 many years. He has extremely spoken to the leaders of the places in northern Iraq, and he describes how and why the conflict began, and what we could continually do. Iran is without delay to blame for quite a few the terrorism in Iraq, and if every person thinks that the terrorism will end if we pass away, they are regrettably unsuitable. If the troops got here domicile, the terrorists could then come to u . s . a ., and that i do no longer think of the yank public is waiting for the vehicle-bombings and suicide assaults that could effect. THEN human beings could wish that the conflict advance into nevertheless in Iraq, the place a minimum of out troops have weapons and armor to guard themselves. As for abortion and capital punishment, there's a huge distinction between killing a convicted killer, and murdering an harmless, unborn person. end of tale! And killing isn't condemned interior the Bible, that is homicide of the harmless this is evil. Killing is each so often needed, in situations of conflict, and self-protection, and executing the in charge. And there'll be a conflict with Iran very quickly in the event that they do no longer end making a nuclear weapon. Then the conflict in Iraq heavily isn't a topic count anymore!

Collateral damage. Isn't that a sweet term? When you have a premise that you HAVE to fight there because if not, we would somehow be invaded (I'm picturing a d-day assault) here. Our occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq are doing little to make the world, much less our country safer. We are doing the training of people to hate us. Everytime we accidently kill someones father, mother, uncle, aunt, child, husband, wife, we are putting one family on the 'why are they here' side of the equation.
Abortion is a tremendously complex topic - there is much more to the legal or illegal - if one truly looks at it. Sadly, both sides are entrenched into their positions and have determined that compromise = weakness.
Meanwhile, the nation suffers

I understand the parallel that you're drawing between the two, but you have to understand that while most Republicans do not support abortion, they also certainly don't support the killing of innocents during conflict. No sane minded person does. But I've said this before, don't buy into all that media BS about how the evil Americans are doing all this killing of innocents in Iraq. It is total nonsense. Sure it has happened and it's an unfortunate part of war, but the image that some in the media try to create is one of the American soldier senselessly going around and systematically killing innocent civilians. This is complete and utter BS. If anyone could be accused of such atrocities, it would be the brutal, murderous thugs that kill other Muslims daily via the car bomb, truck bomb, etc. Muslim on Muslim killing has gotten completely out of control in the region. Islamic leaders need to address this issue at once if they truly care about their people.

Republicans are neo-cons which are neither new nor conservatives.
Paleoconservatives like Dr. Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan have opposed the war since 1998, when Clinton was handed authorization for regime change in Iraq.
Paleoconservatives are pro life and anti war. I am a Paleoconservative.

They don't follow the teachings of Jesus.
"Blessed are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of God."
Words of Jesus Christ.
Exodus 21:22 “If men harm a woman with child so that here fruit depart her…they should pay a fine as determined by a judge.” This seems to say abortion is a minor sin in God's eyes.
In Matthew 5:38-48 “ It was said of old, an “eye for an eye tooth for tooth”…But I say onto you Love you enemies, etc
Jesus really was a Liberal wasn’t he?

abortion became law as a result of judicial initiative..and it is the law..courting favor within the party requires accepting
certain issues to achieve the greater goal..
that would be like me saying..all Dems are gay..to state that all repubs loathe abortion..
Christians are against it..but it is a generalization to say
Christians speak for all Republicans..
in regards to the War..and needless killing..being responsible takes clarity of purpose..most Repubs see
the purpose for going into Iraq..the rancor from the left
would be happening if there wasn't a war..it always does.
