"sustainable development" ???

What's that then ? some sort of new age cr*p left over from the 70's ?

UK Business had better get it's Corporate act togther and wake up to the wave of cheaper higher quality goods coming out of China before it's too late ... anyone wasting Corporate effort and resources on "sustainable development" will soon be joining the queue outside the non-Job Center ...

You want to see where it's going, just shop at Lidl ... and notice (a) the price (b) the quality and (c) the origin of the goods in their 'specials' every week ..

We try and do it in the voluntary sector, but more often than not, we are too busy meeting immediate needs of clients to think about how we are going to sustain it. It needs good leadership who can devote enough time to finding avenues for sustainable funding.
Steve - I don't think its New Age, just sensible if you want to keep your organisation running.
