steam iron..............?

wots the best way to clean the bottom of it?please.

Find a piece of "rough" material (denim etc) and spray it with club soda. Turn the iron to the highest setting (no steam) and iron the material. This will clean the bottom with no scratches.

Wait for it to cool down and then use a washing up sponge and some fairy liquid.If it is really bad then use a brillo pad.
