my name is faris.in my country it could also be a guys or girls name by just changing it to either an or a .all my life people who hears my name or even read my name without knowing me would assume that i am a guy...in college ,all of my letters were addressed as ,even on my diploma...

i am the only girl out of 4 brothers.dad says that he chose so that it would keep me safe...i studied in france for 4 years on my own and in a way it did keep me safe.thanks dad for thinking that far!

is there anyone who goes through the same things as i did?do tell = )

While I haven't had the same experience as you, my name is Randy. If you change the spelling to Randi, then it's a girl's name.

The ribbing I used to get is that my name in England means 'horny.'

I'm sorry. My names Amanda and thats a full blown girl name here in America. But I did experience some name calling when I was younger. Like A- man- Duh! Heard that one more times than I can count. My daughters name is Morgan though which can be a guys or girls name. Shes only 2 so she hasnt experienced anything like that yet but I'm sure she probly will in the future. When she was a baby though, someone did call her a "him". She had a blue blanket over her so I guess it was the combination of the color and the name that did it.

farisse - like clarisse is definitely feminine (but not your name so....)
