I make a decision on a person based on meeting them, not their culture, country or religion.

Hi I'm Indian and I like Iranian people more than Arabs or Pakistanis - met a few Iranians before and found them very friendly and both are cultures get along fine. It seems to be a paradox- for most Indians, first impression of Iran is a strictly Islamic country but the Iranians I met seem to be very open-minded people and were far more pleasant to talk than any Arab or Pakistani who might p**s me off with his narrow-minded opinions in less than 5 minutes.

Iranian tea (Irani Chai) is very popular down here - so are some Iranian actresses who made their mark in Bollywood e.g. Perizaad Zorabian, Boman Irani (though he's only Parsee), Negar Khan (true Iranian) and there is a lot of affinity in terms of language and culture.

If you're Iranian, you can expect much better hospitatlity in India compared to many other people and have specific treatment and that's a great thing I guess.

Many Iranian students study in University here and most of them seem to be decent and well-behaved and there are no complaints but they go out of their way in trying to come as good and that's very nice thing.

The only Iranian person I ever knew was my uncle Nadir. He married my dad's sister. He could never hold a job and he kept trying to become a doctor but he could never pass any of the tests. I think he drove an ice cream truck for a while. He was the hairiest man I ever saw. Now he and my aunt are divorced and he doesn't pay child support.

As for the people in Iran? I think they are highly cultured and beautiful but they need to democratize. I think it is sad that religious fundamentalists control their country. I would hate to see the U.S. go to war with Iran because I think the young people are very smart and have a lot in common with us. But I think your president is totally crazy and he wants the world to end. You should assassinate him.

Assallam mu alaikom.

Iranian people are also Muslim. But Majority are Shi'ite Muslim ( Shi'a Muslim) who are more in favour of Saidina Ali Alaihisalam compared to others. They always place a small stone on the met when they pray. Iranian people are brave and always protect their people from their enemy. They always have strong unity among themself. Friendly by nature and have fair complexion. They treat and respect their leaders highly. Generally good people.
Wassallam mu alaikom warah matullah hi wabarakatuh.

There being no separation of religion and state, I would be suspicious that they would be stuck in the middle ages.

They are intolerant of any ones religion except their own. Why are Muslims like that? I respect their Religion, so why do they hate mine?
