Stress is the difference between what I think I know and what happens per moment in life. Eventually it wears down the human spirit and our bodies eat themselves, dying from each moment of unabsorbed shock, one after the other. Our bodily organs and our genetics begin to wear down. Maybe someday we will have scientific means to bring things back, but for today it is taking care of each other and breathing decent air and drinking decent water and eating moderate good food and having clean thoughts that we share.

depends on the amount of stress and how much your body can take of it. for example, stress is sometimes good because it pushes you on to do something. yet too much of it and you won't enjoy life and want to die thus resulting on suicide. but on the whole, i don't think that stress will kill you.

Stress doesn't kill. It causes other physical ailments and that is what kills you. Long story short - it's not good for you.

The oldest documented man in chinese history (256) was asked his secret to longevity and he said four things...
walk like a pigeon(when you move...move), sit like a turtle(when you rest, rest), and sleep like a dog(do i need to explain)
the main thing he stated though was "Inner quiet"
of course he was also a devout herbalist which maintained his body as well......
