Just as you are leaving, put your hand briefly on his forarm (hopefully bare skin) and say with complete eye to eye contact, "I really enjoyed meeting you. I DO hope I run into you again...". Don't leave your hand their an awkwardly long time. That becomes a weird grope. Just a touch on his bare skin. Work the stare just a little deeper. If he responds positively, take it from there with a number, when you might be around again, email address, or whatever works at the time....
