I hear their is a new federal law that makes child support payments go to the state to pay for the child support agency their administration fees! WOW why do we have child support? I know their are a few who pay their support but the one who dont get off scott free. My daughter is fighting with the agency over 1,460 dollars that they say she owes when her last child support paymebnt was 12.50 for each child their are two. Their is a court order for the support but the agency will not go back to court to have it enforced as long as hes trying theirs nothing they can do. She was told to hire an attorney. Never heard of any one taking on child support

Child support due to the custodial parent is not payable to the state EVER. If the child was placed in foster care or other substitute care-then yes, all debts due to the parent to the point of them returning to the home is paid to the state to cover the cost of placing that child.

So if the children have been in their mother's care all child support arrears are still due to her. Your child support agency sounds like they are not doing their job. You should first speak to the director and advise them you are not getting the enforcement services. If you have no luck with the director file a complaint with the state (see link below) and find your county CSA's board members. Write to all members about the lack of services you've been provided. Also your local congressman or state senator can be very instrumental in getting them moving. Good Luck
