I let them know that the line forms in the rear and then step around them getting back in front of them. If they care to discuss it further we can. But I won't be as nice.

Depends on the place. If it's a regular crowded area (ie. DMV, Airport, etc) I tend to check if said person works in the said place, if not, I normally answer: "Did you need help finding the end of the line? It's over there (then points)"

In other, classier places, I tend to signal one of the workers to alert them of said incident, since I doubt anybody would want to make a scene while their on a date.

well...if u are in a queue...start humming any stupid song loudly and tunelessly.....bombard the person wid question 9they shud be utterly stupid)....step on their toes and apologise in the nicest manner....and then do it again....!!
'accidently' poke them in the back wid ur elbow...
comment loudly on how irritating ppl like them can be....and that sum1 who u know needs to be shipped to the mental asylum...

When driving - brakes first and hand signal for them to see
In a line - They truly have to explain themselves or I just leave it alone, depending on my mood at the time

I tell them, "Um, excuse me! I believe *I* was here first. Kindly go to the back of the line!"

They look at me strangely, but then they see how pissed off I am, and they go. I hate that! Ignorant jerks!

It depends on the situation. If the person has their turn signal on, and needed to get into the lane, then I hit my brakes and let them in. Every once in a while I need to get into a certain lane, and I hate it when people get so territorial over the road that they won't let you in. Why does politeness go out the window, just because we got into our car? It's not like letting me in would cost more than a few seconds of their time. Besides, when I have to force my way in, because nobody wants to let me in, it risks an accident. One of the goals of driving should be avoiding an accident, so people getting territorial over their transient spot on the road is running contrary to that goal.

However, I do get a little peeved when somebody cuts in without a turn signal, though. That turn signal is supposed to act as a warning, and without that warning, I might not know you're coming in when you do! So far I haven't slammed into the back of somebody who does that, but it is worrisome and awfully rude nonetheless.

Of course even that might be understandable too. Sometimes I've turned my turn signal on, and somebody figured that I'm just asking for permission to come in, and since they don't want to give me permission, they accelerate to cut off my access. Those people are stupid. The turn signal is not asking for permission, it's giving you a warning that I'm coming in. That warning is to stay out of my way, so that you don't ram into the back of my car.

So, my point is, when people act like that, you might need to skip the turn signal in order to get in... If they don't know you're coming, then you can get in before they realize that they need to close the gap.

I try not to get too mad, though. After all, anyone that drives in such a way as to make accidents more likely will get what's coming to them, because they will one day run out of luck.

Oh man, I just read the answers, and this question could have been interpreted two ways. I just assumed that you meant driving, but it could have meant waiting in line obviously. I don't know which one you wanted, so I'll give you both.

Well, if I'm waiting in line, and somebody cuts in front, I might let it go if it's a short line otherwise... I mean, it's just not worth the effort to fight over that little bit.

If it's a long line that I'm waiting in, forget it, I will tell the other person to go to the back of the line where the rest of us started. I have been waiting too long to have anymore patience left in me.

If the person refuses to go to the back of the line when asked, I'll turn them in, if I can. If you're in an amusement park cutting lines, then line cutters get kicked out of the park....

Unfortunately, if there's nobody to turn them into, then I'l quietly fume while attempting to stare a hole into their back. Can you feel that, huh?? I don't bother with repeating myself, if I know they heard me, because they'll just ignore me again... Besides, I don't need to open myself up to temptation.. When I'm ignored repeatedly and purposefully, I get the urge to do harm, and as much as I'd like to karate kick them, I know I'd get in trouble for it, no matter how justified I feel... ;-)

If someone pushes in front of me (because I cannot drive!) I say really loudly "DID YOU WANT TO GET PAST?????" It astounds them and then they say sorry
