he was a Republican, then now an Independent,

Everyone seems concerned about what he has announced, do that recognize a political ploy when they see one?

David.

Thank you so much for sticking up for a person who also does not think a Democrat would get elected either.

Brilliant in your ignorance.

Let me get this straight, David is allowed to be snide, but I cannot be snide back.
You sound like a typical Lib.

Bloomberg is, above all things, a liberal first and foremost

He should have never been allowed into the Republican Party to begin with.

Now he is gone, and so Good Riddance to that bad rubbish!

If only we could get rid of Giuliani and Romney, too

He got kicked out of the Democrat party like Lieberman was and went to the cons. No Democrat gives any notice to Bloomberg, Republican or Independent same as Lieberman. Nobody cares about flip flopping conformist on the Democrat side!!!

I agree with David, both on his point of view and the fact that you have no right to make snide comments while people are still answering your question (which is lame because people switch parties all the time).

Ploy? I give him credit for understanding most Americans are disgusted with both parties. The independents are growing which in my opinion only helps America. The two party system is broken and filled with corruption, we are in dire need of a viable third party that can compete with the big two. People are so hung up on party it is crippling our country with divisive politics most of which benefit very few.

He wants to run for President but is smart enough to know the republicans don't have a chance this time around so he is running as independent. Just like the last mayor of New York he does more flip flopping than a fish on dry land.

Edit: Sticking up for him? Did you not read my ENTIRE comment? Are you so easily frustrated by two sentences that you have to resort to personal name calling? Its okay I'm used to frustrating people like you with logic.

Many people I think know nothing about him before he got a high profile post,he only became a republican because it served his objective at the time. I mean really someone name one conservative or even moderate view this guy has. His actions, not his party registration, show him to be what he is.

its nice to see at least some people can wake up too see the failed reality of tax and spend and cut and run. not everyone thinks the world of failed liberal extremism is the way to go by being a democrat. no i wasnt suprised. id label the bloomberg situation as personal growth.
