Yes, the hype against "illegal" immigrants is to distract from the fact that the robber barons who are running the country are responsible for the economic frustrations and income gap of the middle class. There's some anti black talk now too, but that may be tailored to defeating Obama's candidacy. The anti Muslim movement is to justify and reinforce US foreign policy and the restriction of domestic freedoms. I hadn't thought of this before, but maybe US minority groups are being selectively targeted for specific political purposes. It sounds like a strategy that Rove and the other Republican propagandists would cook up.

I haven't a clue what media hype you're referring to.

I think the only "minority" that people are starting to get fed up with are politicians.

last i saw its the government catching all the hell for this crap. congress people have had to turn off the fax machines and stop answering the phones.

a complete manifestation..the media directs their hate..exactly where you direct your own..

the Gov't can't help but be hated..unless you are a part
of the dependent crowd that takes everything it can
