I don't know if he is a communist (but then the older he gets the more like one he sounds) Jiminie Carter though makes you want a new proposal put in that besides not being able to be a two term president but that presidents who lose their race for president should never be allowed to speak to the media or travel to foreign countries and be on the news.

Carter was an embarassement when he was president and he still is today. For years he stayed silent and just showed up at funerals like he should have, but since he won the nobel peace prize, he really thinks we are interested in what he has to say....WRONG!

I never thought Jimmy was a closet Communist,just a moron. He is a utopian idealist without the sense to realize that none of his ideas are realistic. The guy damn near destroyed this country in many ways,he paved the way for many of the problems the US faces today through either very bad decisions or inaction. And he has spent the last 27 years trying to convince the world otherwise.

obviously he was, look at his dismal record as president! Gas lines, draft dodgers welcomed home Iran hostiage, and more more more taxes he lost to a Regan landslide, which said it all
