Hell Yes, Big L, Ghostface Killah, Krs 1, Mos Def, Organized Konfusion, Little Brother, WU Tang, Freestyle Fellowship, Heiroglyphics. I could go on and on. I love that real stuff, not that commercial mainstream crap that pollutes ppls minds on the radio and causes mindless ppl to not have a voice in society, because their too accopied with what they ben given. Which is crap. THey cant explore good music. they rely on the radio to give them the music that the corporations want to give them not what they truely in there hearts want. which should be real music.

I like The Roots, Tribe Called Quest, Busta, and Rakim.

But I like 50, Dre, Snoop, Lil Wayne, and more. You are naming artists mostly from the late 80s/early 90s.... there are newer artists who embody REAL hip hop(real hip hop is a term that should never be used)

Common, Mos Def, Dead Prez, Little Brother, Talib Kweli, and more... But Eminem is VERY talented... he is a better lyricist than half of those artists you named on there with the exception of Q Tip, Rakim, and Redman(he is Red's successor)

Real hip hop is Enlightening to the soul. Emcees on Real hip hop tracks put a lot more effort into their rhymes and concepts in order to open the listeners' mind with sheer style and creativity. Real hip hop also just naturally sounds like real music. I could add a whole lot more but I'm lazy right now

Have that crap you have on that list isn't real hip-hop, its classic hip hop, Some of those groups were half decent and some were great, but really Ultramagnetic MC's are trash.

PE - Legends
Gangstarr- Sick but underaprreciated
BDK - hes too old school
Bsta - is sick and him, redman, and the roots are the only ones not considered classics, and also the only ones who aren't taking geritol.

Tribe called Quest is one of the best groups of all time.

So really go back to the early 80's with this list, or at least respect the rap game for being able to adjust with the times.
I honestly can't see how you even consider Dre and Snoop as pop hop when they were pioneers of gangsta rap and could eat anyone on your list for breakfast.

Ya man most defiantly.. I like mostly underground hip-hop also not those gangsta rappers that talk about bling-bling, and killing and girls and money... try these guys that i like.. there pretty tite.. you prob. have most of them on your list..

ya the roots and gangstarr would be up there as my favourites.Seen Guru perform in my town,couldnt believe such a legend,came to Galway,Ireland!

I would say redman and busta would be just as much pop as dre!

Yes..old school is by far the best. I also like Common, Mos Def and Talib Kweli. Kane is wicked but Busta has lost his flow he was good with LNS but I think after his 1st solo album he went downhill.
