nobody knows, thats why they have been termed unidentified flying objects. there is no concise evidence which proves they exist, but we can't really say that they don't either because there have been so many sightings over time.

well ufo stands for Unidentified Flying Object . well many people have reported of seeing the ufos however there is no any physical evidence to support that . and i haven't seen one!

unidentified flying object - That means an object that is flying and you don't know what it is.
With regards to astronomy, it's refered to as an 'alien' spaceship.
Are they real? I refuse to believe that in the shear magnitude of the universe, we are the only intelligent life. (Sometimes we're quite stupid too). Nevertheless, there has to be something else out there.
