as an Englishman who returned home yesterday from a business trip to the USA, i feel i must ask this. Most Americans seem to be stuck in some sort of "timewarp" from the 80s.Most Amnericans wear suits with sleeves rolled up and loafers like "Don Johnson" lookalikes and walk about like they have soiled their boxers.Disgusting..........

How long did it take you to go to EVERY SINGLE STATE AND MEET EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the North American land mass?
It must have been some business trip.....ahem.
You have generalised thus making any attempts at reasonable debate null and void.

As an American, I feel I must ask this question. Why are you so fascinated with soiled pants? your constantly crapping yourself (by your own admission). It's only recently you started to accuse us of what you do all the time. As for your question, when I lived there, I noticed that your American T.V. shows were a little behind the times. Could it be that your just getting Miami Vice now and just think that's how we dress today? After all, the closest you've ever been to America is your T.V. I think that your T.V. is the closest you've been the anything as your probably kept chained up in the basement by your mum with nothing but a computer, a T.V., and a dog food dish.

P.S. What did you think of last night's I Love Lucy episode

I just clicked on to your profile, and oops, no profile. Could this be the end of old Sid, with the mind of a child... Well there's always Toby Kieth.

relies upon on what you recommend via reform. that's a state of reality that in case you have not have been given mastery of English in united statesa., you will not have the potential to realize your capacity. So, in case you reside in El Paso or New Mexico case in point, you probable communicate English at domicile even nevertheless your super-super-grandparents got here from Mexico. once you're in l. a., that's not the case. So the terror isn't progression and globalization specific is falling flat recently with the greenback incredibly valueless. the actuality is which you will not make it in this usa in case you have an accessory. My grandparents constantly spoke English around me because of the fact the kiss of demise replaced into to sound like a Latino. So, i don't communicate the linqua paterna, yet ya comprehend, I easily have by no potential been grew to become down for a job.

Are we afraid of change? I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know what I'm afraid of. All this time I thought it was just spiders, but now I know the truth.

What part of the country were you in? I don't ever see anyone dressed like that. Were you at a Miami Vice convention in Vegas?

So I ask this if we are so time warped why is it that the American culture is so mimmicked around the world? This would include your country as well sir. Yes I've been there, as well as Panama, Phillipines, Germany, Holland, Costa Rica, Guam, Japan, Korea, France, Kuwait, Qatar, and in all those places American culture and fashion is evident.

Sounds to me like your a bit out of touch yourself. I don't appreciate you catagorizing all Americans, because of your contact with a few. I'm sure you would appreciate my posting a question like.

"Why is it that Brits are so afraid of toothpaste?"

Thank you and have a wonderful day.

At one point the Norwegians (this was late 80s) looked quite different than the rest of us.
We have just moved to Denmark from the UK and my girls have changed their wardrobe.

I travel quite a bit and do enjoy these changes of scene to explore how we all try to fit in and all mostly make an effort to look beautiful.

Here in Denmark the boy fashion is walking in a peculiar manner with the trousers hanging half way down the bum. entertaining and odd.

Maybe Americans aren't afraid of change as much as they are recycling the 80s. Maybe they even are ahead of us since we currently are stuck back into the 70s. Don't know. But it is entertaining.

so, given the amount of time it takes to fly back from the USA, and the time you were on here yesterday, did you endanger the lives of a few hundrend people by using your laptop on the plane, or did you just make that up about the business trip to give you some reason to make this rediculous post (i'm english, please, leave this country for somewhere idiotic enough to accept you).

Well Mr. Vicious , you've left the door wide open on this one . It is the English who are apparently afraid of change , like changing their dirty clothes and bathing just a little more often . Is that too much to ask . Oh , and do bring a toothbrush next time Mmmmmmmmmk !!

I'd like most US newspapers change to follow the English paper The Sun's Page 3 format though. What an uproar there would be!
