How do you think it originated? Your idea would be just as good as anyone else.

Mostly believed is there is a magic guy who lives in space all alone and waved his hand in the air like a Jedi knight would and said let there be light and so on and on.. A little too far out there for me to believe.

Then there is the idea that at one time there was not;hing but gas in space and it all came together and exploded which formed what we have to day. I come closer to believing this one..

So just pick something you like best and stand by it because no one can prove you wrong because no one knows. Watch Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy.. Their out look on how it all started is as good as any..

The big bang theroy is the beginning of the universe.

Solar systems are born when a star colapses, and fragments are sent into space. Most of these fragments disintergrate. The larger ones are kept in orbit around the star as it matures. They become planets or satilites over time.

Sorry, it's brief, but that's basically what happens
