One is hooked to your brain, the other isn't.

Both have lenses.

They both invert the image onto photosensitive surfaces. The image is then converted to the right way up, by us using our brain, and with the camera by turning the picture around to the right way up when it is developed, or using software.

in addition to the lens, iris and photosensitive layer i'd also say they both have shutters (eyelid!!).
