There's no official dress code. Wear what you want, taking into account the weather situation.

Most of the ladies in Birmingham (which has a high Indian population) seem to wear traditional dress, the long trousers with sari over it?? Not sure what you call it.

The younger ones seem to be very westernised though.

No official dress codes really in the UK for anyone - but as anywhere else in the world, a sense of decency should prevail!!

Hi, like everyone said, there is no dress code!! But indian ladies tend to wear smart casual, nothing too revealing, and yes, you can wear tradition clothes if you like, alot of them do, but you dont need to wear a Sari constantly, like you would in India, its much more relaxed, so even a trousers and t shirt is fine!

No dress code here, it's a very free country in that respect. The only rule is no nudism in public. Wearing a veil is often frowned upon, but is not forbidden.
