Well, technically nothing. There are no educational requirements, which becomes apparent when you look at President [insert name of any president here]'s years in office.
Many presidents have had political science degrees, business degrees, or have been lawyers.

I think you will find many have been lawyers - but not being a lawyer does not write you off (Carter was a peanut farmer and Reagan a Western Actor).
