Nah... I would attribute that to human error.
Why is everyone up this early? It's 4:30 am here. I'm an early riser by nature. :) Good morning!

I can see two theories here. One for sale value on the "rare" coins, helping to get people to use this new dollar and maybe a few collectors along the way.
Then there is the possibility that someone has an agenda and reason for making " Godless" dollars.
Also a third possibility is they are just really sloppy federal workers. I'd rather have this be the problem than the other two possibilities.

I say it is intentional. Eventually some person at the mint will announce that since the coins have been circulated like this, that to save time, and money they are doing away with the inscription entirely.

Aho Bro, Why don't you spend more time on righting real wrongs like Peltier? If you apent half as much energy on him as you do asking questions you know no one is going to do anything about, we'd have the boy home by now! Listen to the words of Robbie's Ghost Dance and wonder if it is not coming soon.

After reading the whole article it sounds like a quality control problem. Yes some coins did not have "In God We Trust", but some aparently have the inscription twice.

I think you put too much emphasis on the wrong issues.
The U.S. mint has made mistakes through the years - even when I was just a babe in arms, and, it gives people a way to make money off their bloopers.
Kinda like saying, it's the capitalists who are bringing down America.
P.S. - what does this have to do with American values, anyway?

The article says it was a mistake. Why would you believe otherwise? Who exactly do you think is plotting against you Paul?

This is just the mint's way of stimulating general interests in these new coins. It's cheap and wrong and that's what makes America the cesspool of iniquity it is today.

If a con was in control, it was an honest mistake. if a lib had their hands on it, it was a jab at undermining our values. Simple.
