Well, I can tell you that here in Toronto, Canada we were undergoing parboiling with temperatures in the mid-30s and the humidex up into the high 30s, for the past week.
Every day was a chore to just move around, let alone being able to get anything done. When I had to spend 2 hours cutting my grass on Monday, I felt like a lobster being readied for supper.
And mostly everything that was supposed to be green were varying shades of brown.
However, yesterday afternoon a huge thunderstorm swept through this region, dumping a lot of rain on us for the first time in over a week. Very welcome for my grass (which is beginning to green up nicely), and dragging the temperatures back down to where they are supposed to be at this time of year. Our high for today is expected to be only 23 degrees with no humidex----wonderful!

Here in Croatia is not rainy but is so hot. Now we rather sing this old song "It's rain again" but in this situation we HAVE to sing "Hot in the City". If you like strong Sun, pack your bags and come here. Advice, before you do that type veradisca in web search and pickup some information about Croatia. So, veradisca & Best Regards, Neven.

I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA and I guess we have pinched your sun but totally willing to share it with you all. It has been HOT and humid. Rain blew around us last night but not a drop at my place.
Welcome to global warming folks.
