I want to prevent manufacturing company`s in China, getting in touch with my customers in the U.K.

You can add a clause to your Contract(s) saying that the Mfg. will not contact you customers, however there is nothing to stop your customers contacting them (except hiding the source of your goods).

Plainly the 'best' method is to have component parts made in China and do the final assemly in UK (or anywhere in EU) - you can then claim 'made in EU' and have control of packaging etc.

An alternative would be to remove any contacts details of the Mfg. from the product/packaging - this will mean replacing the Mfg. 'guarantee' with your own and may mean getting Packaging / Manuals etc. reprinted in UK.

You'll find that your customers will make the move first to contact your suppliers and other suppliers in China. Everyone is doing it these days - going direct to the Chinese. You can't prevent it. Even contracts can be got around if there's money to do so. You need to build up a relationship with your Chinese company.
